Each pad comes with its own pouch for easy storage, both before and after you use it. The material is waterproof, so you don’t have to worry about the used pad leaking or smelling.

  • Use, Wash, Reuse

Did you know that you can wash your pad with your other clothes, they won’t stain! Just unwrap it before washing it (in cold) and it comes out almost like new.

How to Use

Easy to Use & Easy to Clean

Step 1. Bring It

Keep your pad in the pouch for safe storage and take it out when you want to use it. Remove any lint from the silicone strip first.

A Lot Better - For You and Mother Earth

19 billion single-use female hygiene products are thrown out each year. Every single one takes about 500 years to decompose. This makes it the 5th most common plastic waste product in the ocean. That’s bloody horrific!

These single-use pads and hygiene products often contain chlorine and pesticides which are damaging to both your health and marine life. Reusing your pad is better for the planet and better for you.

LastPad Can’t Make Your Period Pain-Free, But It Can Make Nature Pad-Free

Single Use-ing Makes Us See Red

After a long and happy life, your LastPad should be discarded with your household waste. By that time, it will have saved the planet from countless single-use pads. The cardboard packaging can enjoy a new life by recycling it with cardboard.

How It Started

LastPad was designed with both you and Mother Earth in mind. Billions of feminine hygiene products pollute the oceans, so we decided to create a pad that makes switching to a sustainable period easier.

Green is the new black, and in this case it also has wings, three layers, and offers great protection during your monthly flow. LastPad is the future of feminine hygiene products for women who want to make sustainable choices without sacrificing comfort.

Use & clean your LastPad

First of all, take your pad out of its carrying pouch and attach it to your panties. If you’ve just laundered your pad, ensure that the silicone straps don’t have any lint or fluff. Secure the velcro.

When it’s time to change the pad, carefully fold it and put it back into its pouch, it won’t leak. Store it there until it’s time to do the laundry. Wait to take it out of the pouch until you load the washing machine to avoid any stains on your other clothes. Once in the machine, you don’t have to worry.

Oh, and remember to always wash in colder water as blood will set in higher temperatures. You can also wash the pouch.

Materials

The top layer is made with our QuickSorbDry™ technology which is a silky-soft, antibacterial polyester that transports the liquid away from the skin and keeps it dry.

The middle layer is made with our UltraThinSorb™ technology, which is a blend of polyester and bamboo. It makes sure the pad absorbs over 2x more than a regular pad. This magical combination is high absorbing and holds up to 40% more than even the best quality cotton.

The bottom layer is made with our NoLeakAirBreath™ technology, which ensures the pad is still breathable while retaining all the liquid. The bottom layer is made of TPU so that you never again have to worry about any leaks.

The packaging is made from Cradle to Cradle certified cardboard, printed with safe ink that you can basically lick without a care in the world (not that we recommend it).

Sustainability & Footprint

LastPad is 10 times better than single-use pads considering all 22 environmental impact categories. After 9 uses, the entire carbon footprint (CO2) of LastPad is lower than single-use pads.

LastPad reduces CO2 by 87%, water consumption by 68%, land use by 89%, and primary energy demand by 80%.

End of life & recycling

When you LastPad is no longer usable, you can say goodbye and invest in a new one. Your old one can be thrown out with your household waste. Due to the mix of materials, it cannot be recycled. But don’t worry, by that time, it will have saved nature from soooo many single-use pads.

The packaging can be recycled with cardboard and get a new life.

Care for your LastPad

Your LastPad can last for a really long time, so make sure you take good care of it, just like it will take care of you. Wash it in cold water (because blood sets if the temperature is too high), and always store it in the pouch between and after you use it. If you prefer, you can wash the pad in a Laundry Bag.

Design & manufacturing

LastPad is designed and developed in our fabulous invention lab in Denmark (aka our office). It is manufactured in Vietnam.

Product measurements

Large 28cm/11", Medium: 24cm/9.5", Small: 16cm/6.3"

The widths are 10cm/4", 9cm/3.5" and 6.73cm/2.6" at their widest points.

Other sustainable options

There are many sustainable and/or reusable alternatives to single-use pads out there today, and we think each attempt to stop the single-use industry is worth saluting.

What makes LastPad different to these options is the thin design that feels more comfortable to wear. You will barely notice it’s there, and it still keeps you safe. The three layers with advanced technology transport away the liquid to keep you dry, and absorb and contain it to avoid any leaks.

It’s free from harmful chemicals, easy to transport in a leakproof pouch, and stays in place thanks to the anti-slip silicone strips. Bloody amazing!

Recycling

We love recycling, but LastPad belongs in the trash when it’s lived a long and happy life. This is because of the mix of materials. Don’t worry though, it’s still a much better option for nature than single-use and other pads.

Single-use products & alternatives

Every year, millions of single-use pads are used and discarded. Each one can take centuries to decompose. It’s hard to fathom how much waste that accumulates to.

Single-use pads also come with other problems. Often, they are uncomfortable, produced using harsh chemicals and bleaches, and can cause irritation and rashes.

By switching to sustainable options, you keep nature and yourself safe.

Lifecycle analysis & breaking even

Every LastPad replaces about 240 single-use pads. That is equivalent to 10 years of use, if you use the pad twice per cycle. Compare that to a single-use pad that just lasts for a few hours, and it’s easy to see why it’s a much better option.

You only have to use your LastPad 9 times before it’s breaking even the carbon footprint. LastPad is 10 times better than single-use pads considering all 22 environmental impact categories. The pad reduces CO2 by 87%, water consumption by 68%, land use by 89%, and primary energy demand by 80%.

Vegan & cruelty-free

We love our furry or scaly animal friends, and we never test any of our products on animals. In fact, helping spare them from all single-use products that end up as waste in nature, is one of the reasons why we do what we do. All of our products are also vegan for the same reason.

Recycling

We love recycling, but LastPad belongs in the trash when it’s lived a long and happy life. This is because of the mix of materials. Don’t worry though, it’s still a much better option for nature than single-use and other pads.
